Can I still join the role-play?
Yes! We are currently looking for new members to join our lovely role-play. If you would like to join, there is a button leading to the OOC Thread and the Sign Up Thread on the website's home page. I look forward to seeing new and creative characters for this, hopefully, long lasting role-play.
How does my character become a "Rose Witch"?
I'm sorry, but the Rose Witches were roles that I had made specifically for the role-play and were on a first come first serve basis. There are also requirements to being a Rose Witch, such as being born of the Petrova Family Line, a witch of extreme power, and a reincarnation of a previous Rose Witch that had joined the covenant. Of course, that line also includes the families that had been married into the Petrova Family. However, it is said that the second tier roses were not original Rose Witches, and were integrated long after the Rose Witch Covenant had been formed and at different times. This means that Rose Witches can be made through some sort of process similar to that of what the original five rose witches had gone through. It's still a bit of a mystery as to how and why it occurred, even the Book Keeper himself doesn't know. It is important to note that I do plan on creating more Rose Witches after the story has progressed!
Who do I contact if I have a problem?
Well that's an easy question! If you have any problems regarding anything at all please contact the Game Moderators and the Game Master. You can find out who these people are on the "Introduction" page. If you come to a situation where a Game Moderator doesn't know your answer, then the Game Master is your best bet in finding an answer or solution. Also, if you happen to have a problem regarding another Game Player or a Game Moderator, then please only contact the Game Master.
What is the requirement for posting?
It is required that each individual's post is a minimum of a paragraph. This means at least seven sentences total. Although, I do expect more from my Game Players. While length can be a good thing, try working more towards a "quality" post that is clear and progresses the story, rather than a quantity post that is confusing and not as progressive. I ask that your grammar is up to par; however, I understand that not everyone is entirely skilled in grammar and I will allow mishaps. If you find you are having troubles, it doesn't hurt to ask someone to proof read your post, or even type your post on Microsoft Word. Microsoft Word has the really useful tool called "Spell Check" and even highlights sentences that may have grammatical errors. Also, please try to post at least once or twice a week. Try to be as active as possible and to keep up. There is a lot of story to be told, and we don't have the time to hold your hand and wait for you. We will leave you behind.
I'm going to be away for a little bit, who should I let know?
If you are going to be away, busy, inactive, or on hiatus please send the Game Master a private message about it. This is so I do not have to sift through endless amounts of comments in the discord server to find out what is going on with everyone. As a lot of you already know, it is common for chats to get a little crazy, and a lot of important of information can go missed. If you cannot tell me what is going on after a few days of absence then I will presume you are no longer interested in the role-play, and you will be removed from the role-play. I will not kill your character from the universe, but rather turn them into an NPC or make some excuse as to why they are no longer around cannonly. It is important to note, that NPCs may be subjected to death if I feel like it will help progress the story in some way.
Can I have open use NPC's?
Yes and no. Some NPCs are playable by all the characters, and some of them are not. To figure out what is and what isn't please take a look at our discord server provided for you in the Sign Up Thread or Interest Check on Iwaku. If you are confused by what is provided, or still unsure then please consult with a Game Moderator.
Can I be the (insert colour here) Rose Witch?
Yes and no. In order to be have a Rose Witch role, one of the positions must be available. As of right now all but three of the roles are available, however, these roles go quickly! If you are interested then I highly suggest laying claim before someone else does. In the future, a spot will open up for the next Blue Rose Witch. There is also the chance that someone will leave the game, and with them leaving their character will die. When a Rose Witch dies, they are reincarnated. This means that if you want the recently vacant role, you're character would have to be born into the Petrova Family, and you will be ultimately be playing a child until the next time jump. Sorry for that inconvenience, but that's what happens when you join a role-play late. As I said previously, I do plan on creating more Rose Witches after the story progresses!
Where should I post my Character Sheet?
Your character sheet should be posted in the Rose Witch Covenant's sign up thread. Right Here♥
Can my familiar transform?
Yes, your familiar can transform into a humanoid form. Yes, familiars have minor spells or abilities that pertain to their witch. Yes, familiars can be mythical in nature. Please read The Familiar's page under Paramounts for more information on them! If you are still confused about certain things then please feel free to message me and I will try to help you out. :)
Why are their two different tiers of Rose Witches?
There are two different tiers of rose witches because five more Rose Witches were accepted into the covenant after the sealing of The Rose Demon. The founding members of the covenant were simply the "Rose Witches"and included; The Blue Rose Witch, The Red Rose Witch, The Purple Rose Witch, The White Rose Witch, and The Black Rose Witch. The second tier roses were integrated, after the sealing and at various times. While they are stronger than the average witch, they are no where near as experienced or as powerful as the original five, thus they are the second tier or the "back up" roses. Don't be fooled though, the Second Tier Roses are very capable, and are revered among the Petrova Family just as much as the original five. In some cases if an original rose witch is incapable of filling their duty on the council, the second tier will take their place.
What is the Rose Witch Council?
The Rose Witch Council, consists of the Petrova Family heads, or the original five rose witches. The councilors are like the representatives of the Petrova Family, those who work on the estate, and the Realm of Nautchwald. The council consists of the original five Rose Witches, and the Mayor of Nautchwald. In cases where an original Rose Witch cannot uphold their duties of being a councilor, then a Second Tier Rose Witch will take the position until the original can return to work. The council debates over issues regarding Nautchwald, Petrova Family issues, solutions, agendas, laws that need passed, and other political matters. (I believe this is called a republic, or a parliament. Not sure. Similar to that.)
